This means that not only will you not get lost in a mass of others you gain the ability to get found independently via this site highly ranked for the search terms you tell me you would most like targeted for you personally. There is a one time £20 submission fee for 1 page portfolios and a £45 charge for a 3 page portfolio and then choose an option.
Basically £99 for 3 years, £36 for one year or £3.25 per month or other options (I do web design (I did this website) as well as SEO and am up for setting up joint ventures with cartoonists to! The joint thing revolves around the Double T Ted's Teddy Bear Characters & is just an option you might like to consider if you do cartoons) Deals on multiple listings available to.

What does this mean?
This means that the URL's, titles, descriptions, text content & various other things chosen for your portfolio are done so with attention to detail and you the artist will need to tell me what it is you want to target "keyword wise" with your portfolio.

Any images included will also be search engine optimized for image searches, designed to lead those who find and click the images straight to your portfolio page. Image searches like Google image search and Microsoft's Bing image search are a great place to get visitors as people tend to search deeper into image search than they do in normal search where as we all know it is really page 1 search results that count the most there.
Note that images are needed to promote artists but these are kept to a minimal in order to have pages perform better in search results.
All page content will be optimized to ensure whatever focus your page has keyword wise it will be the best it can be.
You will be added by hand in one appropriate section. For artists there are a number of sections which means you get listed in one section and we can discuss deals for multiple entries in other sections. See site proper for details. When I say discuss this, it can be a purely monetary thing or, as I have 6028+ cartoon teddy bear characters to choose from I may be amenable to some deal involving art work. You might be surprised by some of the things in the pipeline in that regard tbh.
All importantly we discuss with you the "Title" of your page(s) which happens to be the A1 most important aspect to any web page when it comes to search results.
Let me be honest here. Being able to list artists here on this TTed The Ted site is just a bonus to me. I enjoy search engine optmisation and the main reason this site first started to list artists was becauseI swapped some SEO for cartoon art work.
I enjoy the fact that listing artists puts me in contact with talented cartoonists and that I get to look at their work and learn who is good at what and various other things.
When you have what I refer to as "the UK's answer to Disney" on your hands (One day one day this time next year we will be Millionaires Rodney) like I believe I have with the Double T Ted's Cartoon Characters (See cartoon displays at top of pages), then it is easy to understand that I like to keep up with who is who and who can do what when it comes to the World of Cartoons.
I want artists to get found easily and I have tried to make the listings here as cheap as I can. From what I have seen of other services that I have studied and scrutinized I believe this site has the best deal available to UK artists when it comes to getting a useful listing that serves their needs on the internet. If you think you know better or could help develop things better perhaps you could fire over some details to me? Who knows you may be another person I might like to partner with in some way. I might add SEO has a bad rap. No suprise there really though the SEO World is full of con merchants IMHO. SEO is simple, if we are being honest! SEO is simply helping the search engines to match results with search queries so the results best match and are most relevant.
It's not rocket science and SEO's will have you believe all sorts of nonsense. When it is really just all about making sure the search engines know you have the best result for what someone just typed in they we're looking for. It's the "know how" to do that that I am good at like you dear artist are good at art. Pictures are your thing "Words" are my thing!
I charge £50 per hour for SEO after the first hour so the listing prices are the best I can do for the time it takes me to add the listing and the monthly fees mean I am not far off breaking even after the first year to 18 months of a listing beign added. Seems a bit mad when you think about it as I could likely charge more, but hey it is not all just about the money in my books! The whole journey is what it is about to me.
Note we do not send out newsletters nor do we use mailing lists. I can't be dealing with all that, I never read Newsletters do you?
Your site, profile, email address, or anything to do with you will never ever end up in any Spam filtered folder anywhere as we don't send emails to anyone unless it is a one to one thing. So we presently do not do any form of email marketing and have no plans to do so in the for seeable future. This may be subject to change (when someone invests Millions in the Double T Ted's® and says we have to! :) )
